BCS National Championship

Monday, Jan 9 the night college football fans have been waiting for. It is Alabama and LSU in a rematch of two SEC elite teams. Some say this is and unfair game due to these teams having played already and it may be; however, it should be a good one.

Alabama went 11-1 with thier only loss being in the Nov. 5 meeting with LSU losing 9-6 in OT. Alabama had more yards in the passing game and in total yards but still lost the game. Bama's defense is the best in the nations. Thier offence has not needed to be great. When your defense makes it a short field for the offence then your not going to need a great offence.

LSU went 13-0 including going into Alabama and winning. I know LSU has worse stats and thier offence and defense are ranked lower than Bama's. LSU had a tougher schedule having to play Oregon and West Virginia in non-conference games. Bama only played Penn State. Out of the teams LSU played this past season. 7 of them made it to a bowl game 6 of them won. Bama only had 6 make it to bowl games with only 4 of them winning.

So my prediction is that LSU will win 16-12.
